Privacy Policy — QR Price Sync

Account information

Name, email address, and password (encrypted) when you sign up.

Business and product data

Product names, sell prices, cost prices, quantities, and barcode lookup codes you enter into the Service.

Clover account data (if connected)

• Your Clover Merchant ID.
• OAuth access and refresh tokens, which allow us to communicate with your Clover account on your behalf.
• Inventory and order data retrieved from your connected Clover account, limited to what is needed to sync pricing and calculate revenue/profit (item names, prices, order line items, timestamps).

We do not receive or store payment card numbers, customer payment details, or full customer personal information from Clover.

Billing information (if you subscribe to a paid plan)

Billing is handled by Stripe. We receive limited information from Stripe (such as subscription status and plan tier) but do not store your full payment card details — these are held directly by Stripe.

Usage data

Basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically for security and service improvement purposes.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
• Sync your product pricing and cost data with your connected Clover account, if applicable.
• Calculate and display revenue, profit, and inventory reports.
• Process subscription billing through Stripe.
• Communicate with you about your account, updates, or support requests.
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or misuse.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information or business data to third parties.

We share information only in the following circumstances:

• With Clover: to perform the inventory sync and order retrieval functions you authorize when connecting your account. Clover's use of this data is governed by Clover's own privacy policy.
• With Stripe: to process subscription billing. Stripe's use of this data is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.
• With service providers: who help us operate the Service (e.g., cloud hosting, database, and infrastructure providers), bound by confidentiality obligations.
• For legal reasons: if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of QR Price Sync, our users, or others.
• In a business transfer: if QR Price Sync is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy or a successor policy.

• Clover OAuth tokens, App Secrets, and similar credentials are encrypted at rest and are never exposed to your browser or to other sellers using the Service.
• Access to sensitive credentials is restricted to server-side backend processes only.
• Each seller's data (products, sales, Clover connection) is logically isolated so that one seller cannot access another seller's data.
• While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your account and business data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, tax, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you.
• Disconnect your Clover account at any time, which revokes our access to your Clover data going forward.
• Export your product and sales data.
• Close your account, which stops further data collection.

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you access the Service from outside USA, your information may be transferred to and processed in USA, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Policy with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
